The Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation awards grants each year that support the academic and community needs of the Thornapple Kellogg area.
Grants from the Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation (TAEF) ensure that all of our children have the opportunity to be successful in school. These grants are awarded to teacher and student programs that help support academics in the schools. The Foundation also cherishes the community in which it resides and dedicates a portion of its grant dollars to enriching the Thornapple Kellogg area.
The Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation’s fiscal year begins on July 1st of each year and concludes on June 30th of the following calendar year. Each year TAEF grants approximately $6,000.00 to educational and community needs. If you have a need you think TAEF may be interested in supporting please see the guidelines below and be sure to fill out and submit your application today!
- Mini Grant applications of $50.00 to $300.00 may be considered throughout the year.
- Grants applications of $301.00 to $5,000.00 deadlines are October 1st of each fiscal year.

All grant requests will be reviewed by the Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation Grant Committee. Those that are accepted, will be presented to the Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation Board and Barry Community Foundation Board for final approval.
The Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation Grant Committee consists of volunteers from the Thornapple Kellogg School District and the Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation Board.
